lush cupcake fresh face mask

Welll helloooo there and let me tell you about the newest addition to my skin care routine.

While I am no stranger to Lush or their fresh face masks I have discovered the best one on the shelf. But first let's talk about the Lush Fresh Face Masks in general. There are 9 different types in total and each one targets a different skin care concern. These are made with all natural ingredients, are meant to be kept in the fridge, and last about two to three weeks. (All Lush products have an expiration date) At $6.95 a jar they are a nice little treat for when you are feeling down and need some pamper time. Lush also has a recycling program where if you return 5 of the pots that these come in you get one for free! Oh how they get me with those gimmicks... I have tried four (Cupcake, Catastrophe Cosmetic, Love Lettuce, and Cosmetic Warrior) of the different ones but let's talk about my obsession.

I always avoided purchasing the Cupcake mask, even though it is meant for my skin type, because it smells like chocolate cake. And while there is almost nothing I love more in this world than chocolate ice cream, I HATE CHOCOLATE CAKE. Like literally, it is one of the most disgusting things ever. I hate yucking someone else's yum but YUCK! Anyway, I gave in a couple of weeks ago and purchased it.

Lush, I don't know what kind of magical beans you are putting in this mask or how it manages to control the oils on my face so well but HOLY GUACAMOLE it does. OILY SKIN GIRLS THIS IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND.

I use a traditional foundation brush to smooth it on my skin and leave it on for about ten minutes. I like to use these right before I get in the shower because they can be pretty messy when you are taking them off. Also, try using your Clarisonic to take the mask off! (Love that thing!)

I strongly urge you to go pick up any of these masks. Ask a sales person to help you (although I don't know how you could manage to walk into Lush and not have five sales people bombarding you) or do some research online before you go. (I personally almost always look online before shopping, it really helps me not overspend because I know what I am going into the shop to get.)

Since this post has had waaaayyyy tooo many sentences in parenthesis I am going to end it here. Let me know if y'all try these or if there is another one you think I would like!
